The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
